Course Instructor

Bill Wilson is the Jail Services Coordinator for the Indiana Sheriffs’ Association.  Bill graduated from Indiana University-Bloomington, and the Administrative Officers Management Program at the Southern Police Institute at the University of Louisville in Kentucky.  Bill has more than 30 years of experience working in correctional facilities, starting as a correctional officer and working his way up to top management. Since 1994, Bill has been an Adjunct Instructor in the Criminal Justice Department at Ivy Tech University and serves as an instructor for the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy’s Jailers School.  He is a member of the National Sheriffs Association the Trine University Criminal Justice Professional Advisory Board and the Indiana Council and the Mental Health, Addictions, and Criminal Justice Collaboration Working Group.
